How To

Easy Application

1. Clean wall surface

Grab a dry cloth and give your surface a quick wipe down. Dirt can interfere with the bond between the wall surface and decal, so having a clean surface is one of the best ways to prevent air bubbles from forming.

2. Plan your design

Tape your decal onto wall surface before removing the backing (painter's masking tape works great). If decal needs assembling, cut loosely around parts, allowing you to arrange them as you wish.

3. Rub backing firmly

Lay your decal on a hard, flat surface with the graphic side down. Firmly rub over the entire backing with the included applicator giving special attention to the edges of each letter or graphic in your design. This will strengthen the bond between the vinyl decal and the transfer tape.

4. Peel off paper backing

Start at one corner and slowly peel off paper backing making sure the decal sticks properly to the transfer tape.

5. Placing design on wall surface

Hold two corners of the transfer tape with decal and stick to wall surface. If your decal is fairly large, get a friend to help you set it up!

6. Rub onto wall surface.

Using the included applicator, smooth one edge onto the surface first, to avoid wrinkles and bubbling, and continue firmly smoothing out the tape all the way down.

7. Pull back transfer tape.

Now that you've applied your decal, carefully pull back transfer tape. Start at one corner and slowly roll it along the surface. If any part of the decal sticks to the transfer tape, simply roll back a bit and repress graphic onto the surface.

8. Vualá!

You did it! Give yourself a pat on the back and a gold star (make sure you do both), because you just created your own masterpiece.

I got some air bubbles. How do I remove them?

Bubbling may occur after the decal is applied. If you get air bubbles, simply take a sharp pin or needle and poke in the center of the bubble. Then smooth it out with your hands.

Ready for a new look?

Easy. Peel off the decal. Pick at an edge with your fingernail and slowly peel the decal off the wall surface. Use a blow dryer if needed. This will release the adhesive and make it even easier to peel off.
